Crisix - Full HD

Crisix – Full HD Review

Agents of mosh Crisix are back with their trucker caps and skateboards ready to make you bang your head and this time even dance. Their previous cover album Sessions #1 – American Thrash (2019) has made them more confident while replicating / evoking thrash classics. »Full HD« comes in 11 slices of well written but not so original thrash metal with plenty of bangers such as “Macarena Mosh”, “Full HD” or “W.N.M. United”, which features up to 10 singers of other thrash-revival bands such as Gama Bomb or Bonded by Blood.

Almost every track is catchy as hell, with infectious choruses and fun, nerdy lyrics. This wont push the genre forward as other acts like Warbringer or Havok might, but there’s nothing wrong with the basics. Production-wise we could say the same with no complains. The album is a neckbreaker that can compare to enjoying a greasy pizza, a big lager beer and of course loads of crazy riffing.
